MBI’s SuperBLOK™ Mouse Cot-DNA is isolated from flash frozen organs (including brain, spleen, kidney, heart, lungs, and gonads) of Hsd:ICR(CD-1®) mice using organic extraction. The final DNA is prepared by repeated shearing, denaturing, and reannealing DNA using a proprietary method that enriches by favoring for repetitive DNA sequences such as the B1, B2, and L1 families (1,2). Our DNA is supplied in a certified nuclease-free storage buffer and inert, sterile, and certified nuclease-free labware.
